This year's Sasthapreethi conducted on 22.12.12 by Sri Sivakumar and Co., proceeded in full splendour. Photos of the function can be found at the image Gallery.
Mukkai is now growing with the support of all its devotees, and for it to flourish, more and more resources will be required. Currently, approximately Rs.1 lakh is required for the basic functioning of the temple, and much work is yet to be done. Inquiry is currently being made towards preparing for a Kumbhabhishekam after many many years. More information will be posted as soon as possible.
